We loved having you in the salon, as the winners of our competition “Reasons why I should win” and we hope you enjoyed your first ever make-over. I know it was a big change – the make-up especially. But Rona, we kept it subtle as you wanted – although I loved applying a hint of smokey eyes – and if it made you feel even more special as you left then I know we succeeded.

This is me with Ruth, celebrating. Her name was first out of the glam hat in our First Birthday in Business Lucky Draw. She came in for her winner’s cut & style yesterday.

Second Prize went to Tina (a complimentary weekday blowdry with summer product) and third prize went to Sarah Jane (complimentary summer products). Congratulations to all three.

THE WINNER: Huge congratulations go to Valerie Vickery who will now kick off the New Year with a free haircut & style. And a big thank you to Matilda, who donned the lucky hat and pulled out the winning name (remember, you have to subscribe to the BLOG to be included in these draws!) For good measure (and for fun) we allowed Matilda’s younger sister Scarlet to also try out the lucky hat – a rare privilege. Now guess what she wants for Christmas! (Sorry about that, Dad!)

A client of mine called Pippa agreed to pull the lucky winner out of a hat (couture, of course!) on Saturday. And the winner is Emma Woodman. Congratulations to her. She wins £100 of hair services in the salon, valid between now and mid November. Her reply? She said this made her day!!!

October 2009 NEWS (UPDATED)

Our offers for October are :

- Glam Days : Monday – Wednesday

To all regular clients: come on a Glam Day and you’ll receive a
complimentary Kerastase treatment. Myself or Christophe will
happily recommend which one when you come in. I’ll post a list
of the treatments online shortly anyway, so you can read about
them for yourself.

Also, if you refer a friend you will receive a 15% discount on all
hair treatments.

To all potential first time clients: come on a Glam Day and you’ll
receive a 30% discount on all hair treatments. That means :
Cut & style (ladies) £35 – £44.50.
Cut & style (gents)  £24.50 – £35.

- Our Lottery Draw

Don’t forget our FIRST lottery draw is due on 17 October.
It’s a chance for you to win £100 of hair treatments at the salon,
valid for one month. And all you have to do to enter is subscribe
to the BLOG. It’s easy. You’ll see on the right hand side of my
BLOG page a Subscribe via Email link. Just click on that. I’ve
tested it and what you get is an email each time I update the
BLOG – v useful if you are just too busy to go online and check
my website but still want to keep track of all our latest offers.

- Manicures and Pedicures

Lizandra continues with her £15 manicures and £20 pedicures.
(Add £5 if you choose “French” style nails).
Pedicures normally take 30 – 40 minutes. She also does a delux
pedicure for £30. This involves an extended foot massage as well
as longer skin scrub & exfoliation and takes an extra 15 mins.

FYI Stefano Rubertelli’s prototype light in the front window has turned into a gem. Dozens stop and stare at it every evening. It’s just appeared in ICON magazine this month and there are a few design bloggers talking about it. We love it . He deserves every success, and we hope he finds it.
